North Mountain Blade Chop Forged Copper - 3.5" SLD-Magic Steel Forged Copper Blade, Aluminium Blue Galaxy Carbon Fibre Handle

The 2407 series is an upgraded version of our classic CHOP2. The design is based on the 2405, but the upgrade is in the handle structure. We designed a fully CNC-processed 7075 aluminium alloy frame for the 2407, and minus the backspacer. The whole is two pieces of aluminium alloy, completely hollowed out in the middle, so the backspacer is part of the handle. Although this process is more complicated, it brings better structural stability. The fewer parts, the more stable. We also made a weight-reducing structure inside the aluminium alloy.

This custom-forged blade features a five-layer steel core with copper layered inside, giving it a distinctive, eye-catching look. Just a heads-up, though—copper naturally oxidizes over time. Whether that’s a dealbreaker is up to you, but one thing’s for sure: this is one of the most affordable custom copper-blade knives out there, with solid craftsmanship that makes it a great bang for your buck.

The satin finish on the blade is hand-ground, which you can see in the unique sanding marks on the surface—totally different from machine-made blades. The cutting edge has a hollow grind, and the tanto-style tip is flat-ground, which gives it extra strength for piercing and a smooth feel when slicing.
