Remette RT-Steed - 3.07" M390 DLC Blade, Multicoloured Carbon Fibre and Titanium Handle

The RT-Steed is Remette's flagship — the knife that sits at the top of the range and makes the case for what this brand can actually do.

The blade is 3.07" of Böhler M390 at 59–61 HRC, finished in DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. DLC isn't just an aesthetic choice: it adds extreme scratch and abrasion resistance, reduces surface friction for cleaner cuts, and provides a non-reflective matte black finish that holds up under genuine daily carry in a way that most blade coatings simply don't. The flat grind does the cutting work — M390 at this hardness holds an edge longer than most steels in production.

The handle pairs multicoloured carbon fibre with titanium plating — carbon fibre keeps the overall weight at 113.5g despite the 7.87" overall length, while the titanium plating adds rigidity and a surface that sits between matte and satin depending on the light. The lock is a button frame lock: the titanium frame itself forms the locking element, backed by button actuation for clean one-handed closure. Caged ceramic ball bearings run the pivot; titanium hardware throughout.
