Spyderco Kapara C241CFP - 3.6" S30V Satin Blade, Carbon Fibre Handles
Back-order
The Kapara draws its inspiration from the renowned Australian custom knifemaker Alistair Phillips and his much-celebrated "Redback" folder design. Named after the distinctive Australian spider with a striking red stripe along its abdomen, Spyderco's Kapara (another moniker for the same redback spider) faithfully replicates Phillips' unique style and craftsmanship, even down to the signature red backspacer found on his custom knife.
Originally conceived as Phillips' personal EDC knife for preparing wholesome, vegetable-based meals, the Kapara boasts a CPM® S30V® stainless steel blade with a full-flat grind, ensuring exceptional edge geometry. Its Trademark Round Hole™ allows convenient one-handed opening with either hand. The gracefully styled handle features full, skeletonised stainless steel liners, providing structural strength and forming the foundation of the knife's Compression Lock® mechanism. These liners are adorned with exquisite solid carbon fibre scales, meticulously crowned to offer a secure, incredibly comfortable grip. An index-finger choil near the blade's base enables enhanced control and highlights intricate machining details on both sides of the blade's pivot.
Designed for instant access, the Kapara includes a reversible deep-pocket wire clip for ambidextrous, tip-up carry, along with a generously sized lanyard hole for attaching fobs or lanyards with ease.
