Trivisa Andromeda Pro-RL - 2.3" N690 Stonewashed Blade, Blue/Red/White Fat Carbon Handle

There's a specific kind of carry knife that gets overlooked: compact enough to forget about, capable enough to actually use, and distinctive enough that people notice when it comes out of your pocket. This version of the Andromeda Pro leans hardest into that last part.

The 2.34" drop point blade is Böhler N690, an Austrian stainless steel with cobalt in its alloy. Cobalt helps the steel form a fine, even grain structure, which translates to an edge that takes a keen polish and holds it well through everyday cutting. At 60±2 HRC it hits a practical balance: hard enough for solid edge retention, but not so hard that sharpening becomes a chore. N690's high chromium content gives it excellent corrosion resistance, so it handles sweaty pockets, kitchen use and humid weather without fuss. The grey stonewash finish has a soft, tumbled texture that hides the scuffs of daily carry and lets the handle take centre stage. The thumb hole gives a clean, positive opening, and at 0.1" thick the blade stays slim and precise.

The handle is red, white and blue Fat Carbon, and it's what makes this knife. Fat Carbon is built from layers of carbon fibre interleaved with coloured resin, so when the material is machined, those layers are exposed as bold, swirling patches of colour against the black weave. Because the pattern depends on where each scale is cut from the sheet, no two handles look alike. Yours will be one of a kind. Underneath the colour you still get the advantages of carbon fibre: rigid, light and unaffected by moisture.

The lock is a button liner lock. Press the button, the internal liner disengages, and the blade closes with your thumb well clear of the edge. Ceramic ball bearings keep deployment smooth and consistent. A wire deep-carry clip lets the knife sit low and discreet in the pocket, and there's a lanyard hole if you want to add a bead.

At 5.42" overall and just 47.91g, this is a true pocket knife: light enough that you stop noticing it's there, useful enough that you notice when it isn't.
